How much does babysitting cost?

The rate depends on how long you need care, how many children you have, and your city. On average, budget around €10 to €15 per hour. Thanks to the 50% tax credit and the complément de libre choix du mode de garde (CMG) from the CAF family allowance fund, in-home childcare often costs far less than parents expect.

How and how much should I pay my babysitter?

Pay your babysitter directly through the Babysittor app, simply and securely. You set the rate together. Declare your babysitter via Pajemploi or CESU (chèque emploi service universel) to claim the 50% tax credit and stay compliant with French rules.

Is the app free?

Downloading the app and creating a profile are free. For parents, a subscription unlocks everything: posting listings, viewing verified profiles, messaging, and secure payments. Babysitters use the app at no cost.
