How does Babysittor work?

Babysittor connects parents and babysitters near you. Post a childcare ad, browse profiles with verified identity and reviews from other families, chat directly with candidates and confirm your babysitter in a few taps from the app.

How much does babysitting cost?

Rates depend on how long you need care, how many children you have, and your city. On average, expect around €10 to €15 per hour. Thanks to the 50% tax credit and the CMG allowance from the CAF, in-home childcare often costs far less than parents expect.

How and how much should I pay my babysitter?

Pay your babysitter simply and securely straight from the Babysittor app. You agree the rate together. Remember to declare your babysitter through Pajemploi or CESU so you can benefit from the 50% tax credit and stay compliant with the law.

Is the app free?

Downloading and creating a profile is free. For parents, a subscription gives access to all features: posting ads, browsing detailed profiles, messaging and secure payment. Babysitters use the app completely free of charge.

How do I choose a trustworthy babysitter?

Browse profiles, family reviews and the parent community on Babysittor. Check experience, first aid training and proximity. Always arrange a meeting with your children before the first sitting to make sure it's a good fit.
